Was können Materialien heute leisten – und was passiert mit ihnen, wenn ein Produkt am Ende seines Lebenszyklus angekommen ist?
Bei der dritten Ausgabe von SMART & SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS schauen wir genauer hin: auf Kunststoffe, die wieder in den Kreislauf zurückfinden. Auf Materialien, die zu Sensoren werden. Und auf Lösungen, die Nachhaltigkeit mit hohen technischen Anforderungen verbinden.
Ducati zeigt, wie Nachhaltigkeit und High Performance im Motorradbau zusammenspielen. Bei Pirelli geht es darum, wie Materialien für die Entwicklung innovativer Reifen eingesetzt werden und Aquafil stellt Lösungen mit recyceltem ECONYL® PA6 sowie recyclingfähigen Monomaterial-Verbundwerkstoffen vor. Scherer zeigt am Beispiel von WPC-Compounds den Weg vom zirkulären Material zum Produkt. Dazu kommen Einblicke der Universität Trient in technische Biokunststoffe und der Freien Universität Bozen in Materialien, die zu interaktiven Oberflächen werden und Informationen übertragen können. Auch die Anforderungen an Materialien im Automotive-Bereich spielen eine zentrale Rolle: Stellantis und Röchling sprechen über nachhaltige Lösungen im Kontext von End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV).

Learn how Ducati brings sustainability and high performance together in motorcycle engineering, how Pirelli uses materials to develop innovative tyres, how Scherer turns circular WPC compounds into finished products, and how Aquafil puts recycled ECONYL® PA6 and recyclable mono-material composites to work. On the research side, the University of Trento shares insights into engineering bioplastics, and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano presents materials that turn into interactive surfaces and can transmit information. Automotive material requirements also take centre stage, with Stellantis and Röchling discussing sustainable solutions for end-of-life vehicles (ELVs).

La terza edizione di SMART & SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS porta l’attenzione sulla reintroduzione delle materie plastiche nel ciclo produttivo, sui materiali che si trasformano in sensori e sulle soluzioni che coniugano la sostenibilità con elevati requisiti tecnici.
Ducati ci mostrerà come la sostenibilità e le prestazioni elevate si integrino nella costruzione di motociclette. Pirelli ci illustrerà l’impiego dei materiali per lo sviluppo di pneumatici innovativi, mentre Aquafil presenterà soluzioni in ECONYL® PA6 riciclato e compositi monomateriale riciclabili. Scherer approfondirà invece il percorso dei compound WPC, dal materiale circolare al prodotto. A tutto questo si aggiungeranno gli approfondimenti dell’Università di Trento sulle bioplastiche tecniche e della Libera Università di Bolzano sui materiali che diventano superfici interattive in grado di trasmettere informazioni. Anche i requisiti in termini di materiali nel settore automobilistico rivestiranno un ruolo centrale: Stellantis e Röchling parleranno di soluzioni sostenibili in accordo con la normativa sui veicoli a fine vita (ELV).
Un pomeriggio ricco di esempi concreti sviluppati dall’industria e dalla ricerca, nuove soluzioni per materiali innovativi e una finestra di tempo riservata al confronto diretto e allo scambio di idee.
Le presentazioni si terranno in lingua inglese. Stiamo testando uno strumento di intelligenza artificiale per la traduzione simultanea in italiano e tedesco.
