Am Fuße der Churburg, dem historischen Mittelpunkt des Ortes, wurde ein alter Bauernhof zu einem Museum umgebaut, in dem das einst so karge bäuerliche Leben das Vinschgau dokumentiert wird – ein gutes Kontrastprogramm zur feudalen Welt in der Churburg. Im Unter- und Obergeschoss gibt es Platz für Sonderausstellungen. Entsprechend der Nutzung wurde die Struktur der beiden Hofgebäude erhalten und mit regionaltypischen Materialien ergänzt. Lärchenholz, traditioneller Außenputz, Glas und Stahl wurden so eingesetzt, dass die neue Nutzung in unserer Zeit sich in entsprechend modernen Details ausdrückt. Das bestehende Tragwerk wurde mit heutigen Bauelementen so kombiniert, dass eine homogene Einheit aus Tradition und Moderne entstehen konnte, die viel von dem künstlerischen Potenzial der Vinschgauer in zeitloser Qualität präsentiert.

In the basement and on the first floor there are spaces for special exhibitions. In keeping with this use, the structure of both farm buildings has been retained and enhanced with typical regional materials. Larch wood, traditional exterior plaster, glass and steel were used so that its contemporary use is expressed through fittingly modern details. The existing load-bearing structure was combined with today's architectural components so that a homogeneous unit reflecting both tradition and modernity could arise, which shows much of the artistic potential of the Vinschgau people in a timeless way.

Al piano inferiore e a quello superiore del maso sono stati ricavati spazi per esposizioni temporanee. La struttura dei due edifici che compongono il complesso è stata conservata e integrata con i materiali tipici della regione per rispondere alla nuova modalità d’uso. Legno di larice, intonaco esterno tradizionale, vetro e acciaio sono stati impiegati con l’intento di esprimere in forme moderne la funzione attuale. La struttura portante esistente è stata combinata con elementi costruttivi contemporanei in modo da ottenere un’unità omogenea di tradizione e modernità, che fa emergere le potenzialità artistiche della Val Venosta puntando a una qualità senza tempo.
